What I Ate Today #13

Good morning all you beautiful Internet people out there. My bedhead and I only realised last night that we had to start fasting from today. We thought we had until tomorrow. So there won’t be any food content for today’s post, because I ain’t eating nuthin’!

But I did go for a walk at the shopping centre, 3500 steps in about 35 minutes (including a bit of shopping). And I’ve had 2 cups of coffee and 2 bottles of water so far today (3:47 pm).

By the end of the day, I’d had 2 cups of coffee and 3 (and a bit) bottles of water. I only walked 8665 steps, but I reactivated the setting that reminds me to get up and move every hour (at least 250 steps), and I has 12 out of 12 active hours, 7am through 7pm. I’m pretty happy about that.

Going a day without solid food wasn’t too bad. I got a few growls and grumbles a couple of times during the day, but they subsided within a few minutes. Honestly, I thought that not having to spent time prepping, cooking, and eating would free up more time that I could spend blogging about all the other things I keep meaning to write about here, but I ended up spending most of it reading and watching TV. I watched the season 1 finale of Loki (loved it!) and binged the 6-episode series, Starstruck (obviously not the target audience, but I enjoyed it).

Song of the Day

As I mentioned yesterday, most of the music I listen to throughout the day (and if I had it my way, I’d probably always have something playing in the background) is pretty chill. Today’s SotD is from Lucinda Williams’ double album, Down Where the Spirit Meets the Bone. It’s not even my favourite Lucinda album, but it’s great, and I love her voice, her attitude, and the sound and vibe of this album, so if you’re not familiar with her catalogue, do yourself a favour and check it out. She’s an amazing songwriter and a talented performer.
