I got up early again and the morning routine went well. My wife and I are trying out a few different habit tracking apps to see if we can find one that helps us. I tried one called Coach.me a couple of weeks ago as part of my effort to get in the habit of drinking more water, but the app really didn’t do much for me. I haven’t deleted it yet, so I might give it another try, but I’m also looking at others. The good news is that while I wouldn’t say that I’ve established it as a habit, I am (mostly) drinking more water now than I was a month ago.
My weigh-in went well today. I lost 1.4 kg (3 lbs) this week, and I’m happy with that. I now weigh 173.2 kg (381.8 lb), and I’ve lost a total of 19.1 kg (42.1 lb) since I started Weight Watchers on 30 May, 2017.
I’ve done pretty well this week, averaging about 41 SP a day (about 73% of my daily allowance), and I missed my activity goal by a single FitPoint (mostly because I’d planned a big walk on Saturday with my wife, but it was too hot and we bailed early). These things happen. Still, I averaged around 53 active minutes a day if I include the weekend (I wasn’t at all active on Sunday) and over 60 active minutes if I leave out Sunday (my day of rest). I’m pretty happy with that.
So all in all, it was a pretty good week. I’m mostly going to focus on keeping up what I’ve been doing (it’s working). I’ll be trying out the habit trackers and I’m going to record my food and activity in an app that tracks calories (more numbers!), instead of just relying on Weight Watchers and it’s SmartPoints system.
